Organic Peppercorns – Black is one of the world’s most used spices and is often referred to as the “king of spice.”
These whole peppercorns are actually berries obtained from the pepper plant.
The berries are picked when they are half ripe and just about to turn red, then left to dry which causes them to shrivel and become dark in colour.
Black peppercorns have the strongest pepper taste of all peppercorns, and when freshly ground they add both heat and a depth of flavour to any savoury dish.
